Discover how to capture glowing sunlight and colorful shadows in this two-day watercolor course. Cindy will virtually take you to the picturesque village of Roussillon in Provence, and we’ll explore how to capture glowing captivating light.
This class is for experienced beginners to intermediate students.
Cindy will take you through the painting-process step-by-step from start to finish when you come to class with your prepared drawing (easy tracing provided). You can paint from Cindy’s reference image or your own related photo.
You’ll experience how to give your painting more dimension with a focus on color and light. We’ll explore reflective light, highlights, cast shadows, and form shadows. This village in Provence rises out of the ochre quarries, and red cliffs is a dream to paint with its natural colors of red, yellow, and brown shades – the colors in Cindy’s palette of Daniel Smith Watercolors.
