Lemonade Lists: My New Book for Creativity and Gratitude
Discover how daily gratitude can shift your perspective and spark creativity.
I’m so excited to share some wonderful news with you — my new book, Lemonade Lists: A Guide to Creativity and Gratitude, is now available! I co-authored this project with my creative cousin Carol Frazier, and together we’ve poured our hearts, art, and life experiences into every page.

“Lemonade Lists” artwork by Cindy Briggs, who is a Signature Member of the National (NWS) and Northwest Watercolor Societies (NWWS), as well as a Daniel Smith Watercolor Ambassador.
This book is a deeply personal journey — one that combines the healing power of art, self-reflection, and the simple yet profound practice of daily gratitude. It’s been such a joy to create, and I’m thrilled to see it already featured in Outdoor Painter and the Plein Air Today.
Why We Created Lemonade Lists
Carol and I believe that even in life’s most challenging moments, gratitude can transform how we see the world. Lemonade Lists is more than just a book — it’s a creative guide to help you rediscover your authentic voice and reclaim your inner joy.
It’s filled with uplifting reflections, my watercolor artwork, inspiring photos, and even recipes. Inside, you’ll find practical tools to:
- Spark inspiration in your daily routine
- Practice intentional gratitude
- Embrace your creativity
- Celebrate the “squeezers” in your life — those who bring out your light
Carol describes Lemonade Lists beautifully:
“The Lemonade Lists are designed to remind you of your joy, your passion, your dreams, and past miracles; and to anchor you in your appreciation of today. They are simple lists, because gratitude is simple; but they are also powerful, for it is the daily practice of gratitude and positive feelings that help us keep our personal lemonade stands open.”
What This Book Means to Me

Carol & Cindy – Authors of Lemonade Lists
Writing this book has been a gift. I’ve always believed that art and gratitude go hand in hand — when we slow down to notice beauty, whether it’s in a landscape, a brushstroke, or a kind word, we invite more joy into our lives.
As you read, I hope you’ll feel encouraged to start your own Lemonade Lists, finding little moments each day that bring sweetness and light. This is a book I hope you’ll return to often, like your favorite sketchbook or a warm cup of tea.
