Stonework carries the quiet history of centuries—each surface shaped by time, light, and human touch. In this inspiring watercolor workshop, you’ll learn how to interpret and paint these rich textures with intention, clarity, and artistic voice.
Through selective design and simplification, Cindy Briggs will guide you in deciding what to include—and what to leave behind—so you can transform complex stone patterns into compelling, expressive paintings.
By exploring warm and cool color relationships, you’ll discover how color and shape work together to suggest light, age, and atmosphere—bringing depth and life to your work.
This workshop is about seeing beyond the surface—editing, interpreting, and creating a painting that feels both timeless and uniquely your own.
The featured painting will be based on the same area in Yvoire, France as seen on the cover of International Artist Magazine.
