Working from a photo of an old-world doorway with ironwork and reflections, we’ll capture Venetian architecture with its unique character and style. Discover how to create light and shadow, lift color, utilize masking fluid to suggest ironwork and ripples in the water, use salt for texture, and build layers of color. By focusing on a complex subject matter, you will be able to transfer a myriad of expert skills into your future paintings.
